Ability to access any file on the corporate network is an important component of productivity on the road. Wireless File Access enables users with an eFile™ device client to copy files to and from the device using Wireless Document Hosting - all while being on the road. Having this capability allows users to share files, collaborate on documents and never be out of touch with the important corporate information.

Wireless File Access is configured on the eFile™ Server and the administrator can control which folders or servers a specific user can access. Permissions for the file access can also be configured, enabling very effective enterprise document workflow without development of complex custom applications.

For example, field service technicians can wirelessly access their daily worksheets placed for them on the central server within the company and download them onto their devices in the beginning of the day. At the end of the day, the worksheet with updated information can be placed back on the server for subsequent processing by the back end systems. Usage of such document workflow can save enterprise thousands of dollars compared with development of a custom application.
