Dynoplex eTools provides the developer with the comprehensive set of UI controls which allow creation of application with rich, intuitive and functional interface and dramatically reduce development time. eTools UI contorol toolbox contains the following controls:
- Button/Image button - may have optional Icon (bitmap) associated with it and allows defining its size in the button bar
- Checkbox - similar to standard checkbox, but supports additional attributes and events
- Container - Container to group other controls and handle their properties at once
- Date - entry field with special formatting for entering dates and calendar popup
- Grid - table
- Image - similar to standard Image control, but supports additional attributes and events
- URI - Static underlined URL Link, generates ButtonPressed event
- Memo/Text Area - Multi-line text entry control
- Password - Password entry field
- Progress Indicator
- Text - single line text entry field allowing to specify input mask
- Scrollbar - works with Container control
- StringComboBox
- Tab control
- Time - text entry field with special formatting for entering time (HH.MM.SS AM/PM)
- Tool Bar - can contain buttons, or bitmaps for image buttons
- VerticalContainer - a special container used to group other controls. Provides the ability to disable or hide all controls placed into it at once.
All DynoPlex controls have visible/invisible attribute allowing showing and hiding controls and enable/disable attribute allowing activation and deactivation of controls. Disabling text controls makes them "read-only". Controls, depending on their type, also generate all or some of the following events:
- ButtonPressed
- CursorMoved
- GotFocus
- LostFocus
- ValueChanged
