The following are basic file and sheet processing operations in eCell: creating, opening, closing and deleting files, etc. Name of the current file is displayed in the program title row. When launched, eCell loads Book1 by default.
You can create new workbook using the two following methods:
- Select File->New
- Select the “New” button on the toolbar
There are also two ways to open a workbook stored in BlackBerry® memory:
- Select File->Open
- Select the “Open” button on the toolbar
You will then see the dialog box Open, as it shown in the picture. Choose a document you want to open from the list and select “Open”.
To save the current workbook, select File->Save. To the save the file you just edited, select File->Save As.
eCell allows you to open and save files located on a remote server wirelessly. For details, see section “Copying Documents Wirelessly in this document.
