To install eTools contact corpsales@DynoPlex.com to obtain the eTools installer. Run the installer script eTools_installer.exe and follow on-screen instructions.

The installer will create the following subdirectories under the eTools installation directory:

Cods \: Controls \; eFile_API \; Float_Lib \
Docs \: Controls \; eFile_API \; Float_Lib \
Jars \: Controls \; eFile_API \; Float_Lib \
Samples \: Controls_demo \; ePad \

JAR files located in the Jars directory are required to compile your applications. To install eTools JAR files start JDE, right mouse click on the project file in JDE, select properties, choose build tab and add all JAR files from eTools Jars directory.

To be able to utilize eFile API and run eFile in your simulation environment you need to copy COD files from eTools Cods directory to your BlackBerry simulation folder (usually %programfiles%\Research In Motion\BlackBerry JDE 3.x\simulator)

Directory Docs contains API references for DynoPlex UI control library and DynoPlex Floating point library. You can access these documents by selecting

Start Menu->Programs->DynoPlex->eTools->DynoPlex UI Contorl API,
Start Menu->Programs->DynoPlex->eTools->DynoPlex eFile API,

or

Start Menu->Programs->DynoPlex->eTools->DynoPlex Float Lib API.

eToolseTools installation package includes two sample applications. Source code for these applications can be found under the Samples subdirectory included in the eTools installation.
