Diagrams are pictorial presentations of information that include numbers. Diagrams are based on the numbers of the eCell sheet. Thus, you must enter some numbers before creating a diagram. Each diagram in eCell is saved on new sheet of the workbook’s diagram. The diagram list contains one diagram and has no cells. Here is the list of the eCell diagram types and number of subtypes: Column-3, Bar-3, Line-3, Pie-2, Stock-3, Scatter-2, Area-3, Bubble-1, Radar-1, Doughnut-1.
To create a diagram, do the following:
- select data for the diagram;
- select Insert->Chart (or select the button on the Toolbar);
- select the diagram’s type and subtype in the open box;
- if necessary, select the Data>> button to set other diagram properties;
- select the Ok button
The sheet with the chart becomes the active sheet. To return to the data sheet, select Focus->Sheets and scroll to the sheet you need.
You can also turn off the text on the chart by selecting Select->Hide Text.
