Copying Documents Wirelessly from Device
eWord and eFile allow users to copy files between the device and the remote server. The server can be placed on the MDS server at your company or be hosted by DynoPlex. Contact your system administrator if your company has MDS and you would like to access the files located on your network from your Blackberry. If you do not have MDS at your company and use the Internet Edition Blackberry device, you need to contact DynoPlex to purchase the hosting option for your files.
Please note you do not need to have a local copy of network file to work with a document in any way.
The copy from the device to the server (upload) is done through the “File->Save As” menu item of eWord, or by coping the file from within the eFile shell. If you are saving the document to the server from eWord, choose “File->Save As” from the menu. The “Save” dialog appears showing the listing of both local and network files on the top of file system hierarchy. Select the “Network” folder and eWord will connect to the remote server and return the list of files and folders. To place the file in the folder, select it, print the file name in the edit field, and select the “Save” button. To navigate folders, select the folder and click on it. To go up a folder, select the line with “..” and click the roller.
To copy a file through eFile, first find the file, click the roller while the cursor is on the file and select “Cut” or “Copy” from the popup menu. Go to the destination network folder, click the roller and select “Paste”. The file will be placed on the server.
Copying files to the device from the server (also known as downloading) is done through the File->Open menu option of eWord, or by copying the file(s) directly from eFile. Click the “File->Open” menu item from eWord, then find the “Network” folder at the top of file system hierarchy and select the folder and file needed. As you are browsing network folders, eWord will connect to the remote server and return the list of files and folders. To retrieve the file, select it and click the roller. The file will open in the eWord application and you will be able to save it locally through File->Save As on the menu. To navigate between folders, select a folder and click on it. To go up a folder, select the line with “..” and click the roller.
To copy file through eFile locate it somewhere under the “Network” folder and select “Cut” or “Copy” from the popup menu. Select a place somewhere under the Local folder and click “Paste” from the popup menu.
For enterprise MDS users, files will immediately appear in the locations designated for you by your system administrator. For hosted customers, files will be stored on the DynoPlex Converter Server. Please read the next section on how to work with the Desktop Converter and the Client section of the DynoPlex web site for information on how to copy files to and from the eOffice Converter Server.
If your network has a proxy server for web browsing, you may be required to be authorized to access the server where the network files are located. You will need to supply the user name and password for proxy authorization. In case the authorization is required by the firewall proxy, you will see the dialog box with a prompt for it. Fill in the user name and password fields in the dialog and press the OK button.
Copying Documents Wirelessly from PC
To upload or download files from the wireless server to a PC, either the eFile Document Converter PC application or WEB-interface can be used.

Launch the eFile Document Converter. Click the “Connect” button or select Connect from the main menu to connect to the server. You will be prompted for the user name and password that was contained in your registration email in order to access the wireless server.
The converter has two panes. The left pane contains the directory tree of your PC, and the right one contains a list of files on the device. Copy files to the device by dragging files from the left pane and dropping them into the right pane. Copy files from the device by dragging files from the right pane and dropping them into the left pane.
You may also use web interface to manage and access your files on the server. Follow the link http://clients.dynoplex.com/eFile/web-access and enter your username and password.
